Gary’s game for iPhone

A POPULAR character invented by an Edinburgh comedian is to feature in a new game.

The iPhone is set to launch the Stop That Tank game, based around Greg McHugh’s Gary: Tank Commander, which has had two BBC series.

It follows on from an iPhone application that repeats some of his best-known phrases.

It comes in the form of a simple platform game where Gary has to catch his runaway tank.

The game was inspired by a recent episode in which Gary and his colleagues lose a tank while stopped at a motorway service station.

Yesterday, the News reported how Telford College had launched a new mobile phone app. The software allows students to access college information at the touch of a button and is replacing the traditional paper learner handbook.
