Girl hurt in bridge crash

A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after her car collided head-on with a railway bridge.

The one-car accident involving a red Ford Fiesta took place on Murieston Road, Livingston, at around 2.30pm yesterday.The female driver, thought to be around 19 years old, was given first aid while firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to release her from the car. She suffered serious internal injuries, and was taken to the ERI.
