Gordon tastes Olympic spirit

A CAPITAL “games maker” has enjoyed his first taste of the Olympic experience after attending a training session in Glasgow.

Gordon Seaman, 61, will be one of hundreds of volunteers helping out during football matches held at Hampden Park as part of this summer’s Games.

Mr Seaman has been given the role of a sport info team member during the football tournament. His wife, who will be at the games in London, will also be volunteering.

The session was hosted by gold medal-winning triple jumper Jonathan Edwards.
