Grant and Amanda take the plunge to launch tree appeal

RADIO DJ Grant Stott was joined by TV presenter Amanda Hamilton on Sunday, as they were given the task of hitting the plunger and bringing to life the 30ft illuminated Christmas Wish Tree at Dobbies garden centre, Lasswade.

The tree allows customers to place a Christmas wish, with the store selling “wish baubles” in exchange for a donation to Action for Children.

Dobbies hopes to raise £30,000 for Action for Children this year through a range of activities.
