Headmaster to take leave of Loretto
Peter Hogan plans to leave Musselburgh-based Loretto School – which counts Alistair Darling and Andrew Marr among its former pupils – at the start of the summer term.
Parents were told of his resignation in a letter sent by chairman of the governors, Colonel Simon Graham.

“Peter Hogan goes with our best wishes.”
He added that Elaine Logan, former deputy vice-gerent, would become acting head for the summer term.
