Hit the beach for clean-up

THE Marine Conservation Society is looking for volunteers to help clean up Cramond beach.

The beach clean will take place on September 17 from 10am to noon, with volunteers asked to meet at the start of the Cramond Island causeway.

The society’s Beachwatch Big Weekend will organise 400 beach cleans across the UK.

Volunteers and local residents will pick up and record litter from a 100m stretch of Cramond beach.
