Milton Glaser, whose heart-centred I Love New York logo has been popular with visitors to the Big Apple since the seventies, has been invited to deliver the inaugural Chancellors Talk at Edinburgh Napier University.

Design genius Glaser, whose work also includes the famous psychedelic Bob Dylan poster and the Brooklyn Brewery logo, will address an audience at the University’s Craiglockhart campus via a Skype link on Wednesday, March 9.

Speaking from his native New York City, the 86-year-old will speak about a career which has seen him co-found New York magazine and host one-man shows on his way to becoming one of the most celebrated designers in the U.S.
