Voters across the city braved miserable weather to exercise their democratic rights today.
After a six-week campaign, it was time for the public to make up their minds on who will be the five MPs representing the Capital during the next parliament.
Results here could have big implications for who ends up being the next Prime Minister, as well as on a range of policy issues which affect our daily lives.
It appears those waiting until after work to cast their ballots may have made a wise move, with weather forecasters predicting a drier and sunnier evening.
And with campaigning banned as is customary on election day, our attention has turned to all the adorable dogs who have accompanied their favourite humans to vote.
