Edinburgh’s most iconic department stores could be turned into a new flagship hotel after being put up for sale with a £13.7 million price tag.

In an exclusive from the Edinburgh Evening News, the sale was been described as a “unique opportunity” to snap up one of the most iconic buildings on Princes Street, which has been home to a Frasers store since 1976.
The sale of the building could see it divided up for a number of different uses in future, including restaurants, bar, office and even residential properties.
