Comedian Joe Lycett has appealed to fans in Edinburgh amid concerns over ticket sales for his upcoming show.
The 38-year-old, who recently appeared on BBC reality series The Celebrity Traitors, is due to perform in the capital as part of his live comedy tour.
Lycett has become a familiar face on British television through shows including Late Night Lycett and appearances on programs such as Taskmaster.

His latest television appearance saw him enter the castle for the second series of The Celebrity Traitors, hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
However, his time on the show came to an end after he was banished by his fellow contestants, having attracted suspicion by repeatedly expressing his desire to become a traitor.
The comedian admitted afterwards that he had been too eager to join the opposing team, joking that he was “too hungry to be recruited”.
Now, Lycett is turning his attention back to live comedy and has made a plea to Edinburgh audiences as he looks ahead to his appearance at the Playhouse in May next year.
Lycett is scheduled to perform at the Playhouse Theatre from May 20 to 22.
On his Instagram, Lycett smiled into the camera and said that his management asked him to make this video.
The captions said: “My management have asked me to make a video telling you that I'm going on tour in 2027/28, because Edinburgh is not selling well.
“Some shows are sold out, but in their words ‘Edinburgh has the potential to be very embarrassing for you’.”
Lycett then pleaded for fans to come see him in Edinburgh as he revealed he still has ‘thousands’ of tickets to sell.
Fans hoping to see the comedian live can check the latest availability - which according to Joe is a lot - through official ticketing outlets.
