Kiltmaker’s battle to put tanks on his lawn
EDinburgh kiltmaker Geoffrey Nicholsby has gone to war with a council over his plans to put tanks on his castle lawn.
Planning chiefs have rejected an application to put the “paintball panzers” in the grounds of A-Listed Duntarvie Castle. Mr Nicholbsy says he needs the go-ahead to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds to restore the ruin.
He plans to contest West Lothian Council’s decision next week.
