Kitchen app to tempt kids

AN innovative smart phone application designed to tempt children into the kitchen has been launched by an East Lothian-based entrepreneur.

Al Bryce founded his firm Kitchen Monsters this year and has just brought his iPhone app, Cooking for Kids, to the market.

The app encourages children to become more interested in the food they eat and is crammed full of recipes.

Among the features is a timer to ensure dishes don’t come out charred and a device to convert easily between oven temperatures and weights.
