Let Cameron be your wild land guide

Cameron McNeish, the wilderness hiker, author and broadcaster, is to give an illustrated talk on his experiences next month.

Mr McNeish will speak about the making of his successful BBC2 television programme, The Hebridean Trail, and his long-running editorship of the magazine TGO, The Great Outdoors.

The talk will be at the Brunton Hall in Musselburgh on September 2.

In 2007, Cameron acted as a consultant on Griff Rhys Jones’ successful series for BBC1, Mountain, and currently contributes a regular slot, Wild Walks, on the BBC Scotland series, The Adventure Show. In 2010, he continued the series by presenting The Hebridean Trail.

His forthcoming talk will focus on these areas of his work. Tickets cost £7.50 and are available from Musselburgh Library.
