Lorry driver’s narrow escape

A MAN had a lucky escape after being involved in a collision involving two lorries on the A90.

The accident took place on the southbound carriageway near Cramond Brig just after 9am yesterday.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free a man, thought to be aged around 56, from one of the vehicles.

He did not sustain any injuries in the accident and the driver of the other vehicle was also unhurt.

Three fire appliances from South Queensferry, Crewe Toll and Bathgate attended the scene.
