Lost leopard-print engagement ring turns up in cafe

A WOMAN who lost her leopard-print engagement ring just two months after her boyfriend proposed has spoken of her joy after the ring was found.

Sheenagh Murray, 25, accidentally left the white gold ring in the toilets of Starbucks in Nicolson Street last month after taking it off to wash her hands.

Around 30 minutes after leaving the coffee shop, Sheenagh, who lives in Causewayside, realised she had left the ring and rushed back to check the toilets – but the ring was gone.

She received a phone call from Starbucks yesterday – 11 days after losing the ring – to say it had been found in a scrunched-up envelope on one of the chairs in the cafe.

“I’m so happy to have my ring back, I’m never taking it off ever again,” she said.
