Luke Combs at Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium 2026: How to get there, road closures and travel information
Ongoing closures on Edinburgh’s Princes Street means the usual routes to the stadium are disrupted
Thousands of fans sporting cowboy boots and hats will descend on Murrayfield Stadium this weekend as US country singer Luke Combs kicks off his Scottish shows.
The artist, who has become of one country music’s biggest stars, will shows on Friday and Saturday in the Scottish capital My Kinda Saturday Night Tour.

But with ongoing disruption to travel in Edinburgh city centre following the aftermath of a fire on Princes Street, transport bosses have urged fans to plan their travel ahead of time to avoid any pre-gig stress.
Here’s a short travel guide for those travelling to Murrayfield this weekend.
How to get to Murrayfield by public transport
By train
Fans travelling to Murrayfield are advised to use Haymarket station, which is just a short walk or tram ride from the stadium.
Due to the ongoing closure of Princes Street, if you arrive at Waverley you will be unable to take the tram.
You will have to catch a bus or walk via Princes Street Gardens to the West End of town before taking the tram to the stadium.
ScotRail has added extra carriages to services on key routes out of Edinburgh over the two days, including Dundee, Perth, Glasgow, and Fife.
After the concerts, queuing systems will be in place at Haymarket station. Fans should join the queue on Haymarket Terrace where they’ll be directed to the correct platform for their train home.
ScotRail bosses have urged people to buy their tickets before boarding, or they could be liable to pay the train operator’s £10 minimum fare.
By tram
Trams are currently only running a part route service between the West End and Edinburgh Airport due to the ongoing closure of Princes Street.
That means people will not be able to catch trams to the stadium from the Princes Street stops, and will only be able to get on from the West End or Haymarket.
By bus
The road closure on Princes Streets means buses through the city centre are currently diverted. Anyone taking the bus this weekend should be prepared for possible delays and disruption, and allow for extra travel time.
