Man, 18, hospitalised after motorcycle involved in collision with car in West Lothian

An 18-year-old was taken to hospital today after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car in West Lothian.

The crash happened in Blackburn's Ladeside Road at about 3pm and involved a white motorcycle and blue Vauxhall car.

Police said the 18-year-old man was seriously injured but his condition is not life-threatening. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the car was uninjured and stopped at the scene.

Constable Susan Nisbet, of the Road Policing Unit based at Livingston, said: "We're appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or was in the area around that time and has dashcam footage to come forward"."Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2043 of 3 June 2020."
