Man attacked by gang of 4

A MAN suffered a broken jaw after being attacked in the street by a gang of four men.

The 31-year-old victim was walking with a friend along Gorgie Road, towards Stewart Terrace at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, when the suspects, described as being of Asian appearance, approached them at the junction with Wardlaw Place.

The gang made off in an unknown direction after carrying out the attack. Officers are now examining CCTV cameras around the area and are looking to trace anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
