Man charged over robbery

A 33-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged knife-point robbery at a betting shop.

More than £1500 was stolen from the Ladbrokes store in West Main Street in Whitburn, West Lothian at around 9.45pm on Wednesday, October 19.

The man was arrested on Friday.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, and have urged anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity to come forward.
