Man left with cuts in attack

A MAN suffered cuts to his arms and face after being attacked near a Chinese restaurant in broad daylight.

The 38-year-old victim was attacked by another man near the King’s Palace restaurant in the High Street in Dunbar, East Lothian, at about 10.15am on Thursday.

The victim was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.

Police are keen to trace a man, who may be around 70, who may have seen what happened.
