Man walking Labrador performs indecent act in Musselburgh

The offence took place around 10.15am within the Lagoons area of the town.
A man walking a golden Labrador was seen with no clothing on the lower half of his body before performing an indecent act.

The male then headed towards the Goose Green area, at which time it is believed he was fully clothed again.
Local officers are now conducting inquiries within Musselburgh to trace this individual and anyone who can assist with this investigation is asked to come forward.
The suspect is described as white, in his twenties or early thirties, around 5ft 10ins tall with a slim build. He was wearing a dark grey hooded top with the hood up and when fully clothed was also wearing light grey shorts.

Hide AdSergeant Laura White from Tranent Police Station said: “Various members of the public witnessed this indecency, which was unpleasant and unsettling for them.
“While we have spoken to several witnesses we are keen to hear from anyone else who was in the Lagoons or Goose Green area on Thursday morning and saw anything suspicious.
“Similarly, anyone who recognises the description of the suspect or who has any other information relevant to this investigation should also contact police immediately.”
