Midlothian road reopened after three-car crash

The Loan in Loanhead was shut by police at around 8am today.

The incident involved three vehicles and no-one is thought to have been hurt.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Three cars were involved, a Citroen, a Mercedes and a Renault Megane.

“The road was closed and emergency services were in attendances as a precaution.

“I don’t believe anyone was injured or has gone to hospital.”

The road was reopened to traffic at around 9.30am.
