Mike’s team hits highs

A TEAM of fundraisers has raised more than £2000 for charity.

The team, led by Mike Philp, raised the cash with this year’s Caledonian Challenge.

Mike, who lives in Lasswade, led a four-person team, drawing on his 2009 Challenge experience. Alongside his wife Tracy and friends Alasdair McDermid and Stewart Carbray, Mike completed the equivalent of two ascents of Ben Nevis in 22 hours and 38 minutes, raising £2008.
