Music festival set to rock up

THIS year’s Belhaven Best Dunbar Traditional Music Festival will be held from September 23-25, with more than 30 gigs in the area.

Regular favourites, including Hughes and McDade and Slainte M’hath will be joined by new artists and there will be a welcome return by Herber Mooths, covering a range of traditional and Scottish folk songs.

On Saturday, Dunbar Royal British Legion Pipe Band will perform, while Delta Folk will play in memory of Iain Cadell.

Committee member Johnny Stewart said: “Dunbar takes on a rare atmosphere during the music festival.”
