Mystery sculptures shaping up for a nationwide tour

MYSTERY sculptures made from books which were left at libraries, theatres and museums in the Capital are going on display around the country.

The first of ten intricate pieces was left with an anonymous note attached from the artist in March last year at the Scottish Poetry Library.

Abby Cunnane, the library’s project leader, said: “The pieces are incredible, they are so intricately designed and are definitely made by hand.”

The tour will begin in Aberdeen later this month and will end back at the Scottish Poetry Library on November 24.
