"Sudden death" of 31-year-old found in Dalkeith

Officers were called yesterday lunchtime

POLICE are probing the death of a man whose body was found in a Midlothian flat.

The 31-year-old was discovered in Jarnac Court, just off Dalkeith High Street yesterday lunchtime.

Officers are currently treating the death as "unexplained."

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers in Dalkeith were called to a property in Jarnac Court at around 12.25pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020, following the sudden death of a 31-year-old man.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
