Navigation lights illness

A CHARITY has announced funding for a project designed to help brain tumour patients gain a better understanding of their illness.

The Navigation project, which was designed by researchers at Edinburgh Cancer Centre, helps patients formulate questions to ask during consultations. They create a list beforehand and are given a recording afterwards, to help them understand their diagnosis and condition.

The service is being examined at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, where 15 patients have agreed to participate in a study.
