Neon exhibition set to shine on

A NEON light display by a Turner Prize-winning artist is set to be extended for another year.

The National Gallery of Modern Art’s neon installation by Martin Creed at the entrance to the gallery has proved a big hit and has already been extended by one year.

Now staff at the gallery have applied for planning consent to extend the work – a large blue neon sign bearing the words Everything Is Going To Be Alright – for another year.
