One monster performance

PRIMARY school pupils are set to join a renowned orchestra on stage at a concert in the Usher Hall.

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra will perform A Little Book of Monsters with the help of 280 children from nine city primary schools.

The Lord Provost’s People’s Concert will take place on February 9 at 3pm.

Kim Edgar, director of Broomhouse Primary School choir, said: “The children are extremely excited. The music’s entirely new for them and they’re lapping it up.”
