OpenTable has revealed its Diners’ Choice Awards with 10 eateries in the Scottish capital having been named the best in the city.
Each month, OpenTable analyses nearly 2 million global diner reviews from the past four months.
Tynecastle’s Skyline Restaurant is the highest rated restaurant to make the list, but there are many more options has continued its reign at the top spot in Edinburgh this month, having named the Diners’ Top Pick for October.

1. The Cottage
The Cottage sits on the site of the former, well respected, Gardener's Cottage. It has earned rave reviews since. OpenTable diners have it top of their list with a score of 4.9. Royal Terrace Gardens.
2. Urban Angel

4. No. 35 at the Bonham Hotel
No. 35 at the Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh's West End serves up "classical elegance with the contemporary". OpenTable diners scored it 4.6 and said they love its "sense of occasion". 35 Drumsheugh Gardens.
