5G Apple 12 doesn't impress me much – Hayley Matthews

With news of the new Apple 12 family being announced, I have to admit that I'm not that impressed given what I've read people saying so far.

There were loads of tweets during the week slating Apple when they presented the latest gadget boasting 5G and I think many are just losing interest.

I appreciate some are still excited about it, despite many of us not really knowing what it does. Will it be faster, quicker maybe? Mind you, how much quicker can we get these devices to go?

Anyway, my point is that I see fewer and fewer people getting all geared up about the latest Apple release and I hear more people raving about their competitors which often tend to be half the price.

The funniest tweet I read was from @bufftontuffton1234, who tweeted that "I am a 62-year-old man who feels a sense of achievement if he presses a doorbell and hears ding dong, I am as likely to buy one of your phones as I am to go magnet fishing off a bridge in Baghdad.”

His tweet got quite a lot of attention and I think it was because he summed up how many people are becoming not so interested in the latest release from the tech giant as they used to be.

For me personally, I won't be getting in a tiz about the iPhone 12 – I'll just be happy with a battery for my current old iPhone 6 that lasts for more than four hours!
