Has anyone seen Pearl the cat? We're all very worried – Hayley Matthews

We have a little dog group on WhatsApp where we can keep in touch for dog walking, who's meeting up when etc, which is helpful now the dark nights are here.

Also (and I'm not sure if this is down to full moon effects) but a lot of teenagers seem to be really aggressive just now. I feel intimidated when I see large groups of teens so it's no wonder many of us want to stick together when out in the evenings.

After one of the group mentioned her cat had been missing a while now, I've been helping to look. I've been taking the car at night and looking during the day too. While there have been possible sightings, we're still looking for little Pearl.

She's grey and white with a pink collar and is about ten. I'd be forever grateful if anyone has seen this wee pussy cat because it's such a horrible feeling when they go missing for a bit. My friend said how it is really out of character for her to just vanish. She's been missing for longer than a month so we're all worried.

If you want to help a sister out, please keep your eyes peeled for Pearl. The latest news was somebody thought they saw her near the Telferton Industrial Estate close to the Royal Mail depot. Pearl is from the Piershill, Willowbrae area and we'd be grateful for any sightings.

I'm also aware that there may be an influx of messages after this but if you do think you've seen her give me a shout. You'll find me on the Facebook.
