Home schooling in lockdown: My son's teachers are doing an incredible job – Hayley Matthews
Our previous attempts at home schooling in the first lockdown were very "fluid", this one though not so much.
However, I have to give a massive shout out to Miss Davis, my nine-year-old’s teacher because she's taken the online teaching in her stride and has been fantastic!

The tech has been a wonderful saviour for our kids just now. Being able to learn online and keep in touch with their pals at school has been a welcome positive of the home schooling project.
I'm especially proud and blown away by the tech competency of my son and how well he's doing (he's a clever wee cookie).
And he's loving the online learning as he gets to sit with his cup of tea and iPad chatting to his class. I can see him growing up in to a very confident young man who's able to adapt to a lot of challenges.

So to all the staff at our school and head teacher Mrs Deans – THANK YOU! You're all doing an incredible job at keeping our kids education going through a pandemic.
