He always has so much energy, so finding an activity that keeps him busy for a while is always welcome. He adores his coach Eva, who is wonderful with the kids. You can tell she's an experienced early-years teacher who loves working with children. Her way with the kids is phenomenal.

Our youngest son’s rugby skills have really come on since joining, he's always got a cheeky wee smile on his face as he runs about.

It can be tough finding a Sunday morning activity for pre-school boys and girls, so if you're looking for fun activities, I can vouch that this age group always seem to be having the most fun at Leith Rugby.

The aim at Little Leithers is to encourage children to keep healthy, learn new skills and make new friends. The sessions last for up to 45 minutes, which seems the golden number for concentration at this age too! It's all just perfect.

Eva takes the kids on a journey of balance, co-ordination and ball skills, whilst encouraging both individual and team work. And yes, I know I sound like an over-enthusiastic parent but it's only £5 a month.

We meet at Academy Park at 10.30am every Sunday and your kids will thank you for it!

Leith Rugby feels like family to me now and they're the most welcoming people ever. So come find us on the Leith Astro pitch at the back of Hawkhill, we'll be the ones with hoola-hoops, rugby balls and smiles all round – hope your kids can join us too!
