Portobello needs both its public loos open before we all wet ourselves – Hayley Matthews

People are peeing everywhere and the picture of the big puddle of wee in a residential street in Portobello that was doing the rounds recently just reinforces why more public loos should reopen.

It's a huge problem with so many using the beach but also with people having the odd carry out on the prom (a swally with friends) and then needing to go somewhere to break the seal – so we need a solution.

I had a spare bottle of water in the boot so washed it away but to be honest, I don't really want to be washing wee off the car, so please Edinburgh Council open the loos before we all loose it and wet ourselves!

I mean I get the whole social distancing thing and that there's already a public loo open in Portobello but surely both can be open, no?

They're not that close to each other and, for those that can't walk the length of themselves without needing a piddle and to avoid making a puddle, can we just have both public loos on one of the busiest stretches in Edinburgh open – please!?
