Winter lockdown is coming? Time to rewatch Game of Thrones – Hayley Matthews
With everyone talking about Christmas being cancelled and the rise of Covid cases this last week, I have to admit, I fear a second lockdown coming, or at least, some sort of “mini-lockdown”.
With Tesco Leith confirming a positive case from a worker, it’s no wonder people are panicking again. Such a busy store at the hub of Leith means there will be so many who are worrying if they have come in to contact with the virus.

The full autumn/winter gear has been dug out the back of the drawer and I see everyone around me preparing for the colder months.
So if we do go to another lockdown then I reckon there will only be one thing for it. Get cosy, stock up on the hot chocolate and Horlicks (online of course), dust off the woollen blankets and possibly re-watch Game of Thrones (below), from the start! If we do have a second lockdown in the winter months, it’s going to be a long one, so hunker down.
On the bright side, most of us have gained a few pounds so we’ve got the extra padding to hibernate.
