We have been working hard organising tours for the spring.

Grant Stott did so well with his show Tales From Behind The Mic during the Festival, he sold out his entire run. Because of this, we are going to take the show out on the road, during March, April and May 2017.

Grant has a very busy schedule in panto this Christmas and his daily radio show at Forth FM, so we have to plan ahead.

The show was directed by his panto buddy, Andy Gray, and shares some of the funny, strange, awkward and bizarre moments that have happened to Grant on and off air during the past 26 years since he left the police to work as a DJ at Radio Forth. Look out for the dates being announced soon.

The other show we are touring next spring is singer/songwriter Horse McDonald’s autobiographical play Careful, written by Lynn Ferguson and directed by Maggie Kinloch.

The play was one of the shows that we ran at the National Museum of Scotland during the Festival. It’s an inspirational story of her triumph over adversity. Horse takes us on her journey from two-tone velvet loons to one of Scotland’s most celebrated singers and through those times when she had to be... Careful.

Horse McDonald is iconic. She has few peers, is utterly unique, with a breathtaking stagecraft. Her voice is a ‘finely honed instrument’. Her audience become absorbed as part of the ‘Horse’ show, sharing in her energy and delight at her sheer talent.

People find her music moving and uplifting. Since her studio debut in 1989 with ‘You Could Be Forgiven’, Horse’s power to reinvent and advance her musical style and prowess has been unshakable.

She has released eight albums including The Same Sky & God’s Home Movie. The latest, her ninth, HOME, was released on her own label Randan Records. She has opened and toured with international artists like Tina Turner, BB King, Bryan Ferry and Burt Bacarach.

Two great shows for every taste, look out for them as they will be going on sale soon.
