Remember folks, this is the devious and underhanded way the CEC are treating their city residents with contempt by using ETROs and they will stop at nothing to inflict these measures on us!

“Traffic and commuter levels haven’t yet returned to pre-pandemic levels”. What city are these councillors driving around, because it ain’t the same one as me. Since kids have gone back to school and more folk have returned to work all the major routes are congested at peak times again. The bypass is always busy from 10am till at least after 5pm.

If you stick to the 20 miles per hour limit and keep your eyes open, it's not an issue. Although I do see the comments about emergency services getting through, which is the real problem.

Everything is getting totally out of hand - no need for it. It's unbelievable what is happening at the moment, especially this completely ridiculous 20 mile an hour in lots of places, which causes more pollution. Somebody has to take all this in hand and sort all these ridiculous decisions and think before they implement them.

Most people (not all) have a choice about how they get around the city. Perhaps instead of moaning, some people could consider the opportunity in front of them. You could walk or perhaps cycle instead of creating a queue of nearly empty metal boxes. Leave the driving to tradesmen, delivery drivers and people with disabilities. You're welcome.

Sustrans is nothing but a self-financing quango. When I tried to get information from them regarding the Bears Way, built with public money, they blocked me because I was asking the wrong sort of questions. Why are the Scottish government and councils funding a company that doesn’t work in the public interest?
