John Roberts: Definitely at Easter Road, they can parade the Scottish Cup beforehand ... oh no, wait a minute! In all fairness it’s a great achievement for him and he will go down in the history books. All the best for wherever he fights next.

Mark Fairbairn: Edinburgh should allow this man to choose where he wants to fight. The castle or one of the stadium's would be brilliant.

Grant Lacey: Personally I think Edinburgh Castle would be an awesome spectacle but as he’s a Hibs fan I’ve no doubt Josh would love the opportunity to fight in a sold-out Easter Road.

Nick Mackay: Don’t fight at Easter Road – youll Hibs it. Jokes aside, imagine Taylor and Lee McGregor fighting, one at Easter Road and the other at Tynecastle. It would be amazing for Scotland and Edinburgh, with both fighting big fights at thier boyhood teams’ stadiums. Please make it happen.

Charles Pretty: He has the titles and he should be allowed to pick both venues for his future fights.

Peter Duffy: Easter Road would be a great venue and it would be full to capacity but I think Edinburgh Castle, is more fitting for a king of the ring and the whole country would would love it. The legend on the Rock, king of the castle, king of the world. Well done Josh!

Alec Wilson: What about Murrayfield? I’m sure the unified world champ could fill it.

Anthony Maher: Why not Hampden Park? He’d probably fill it and it would be a bigger purse.

Ben Cuevas: He’s the champ now and his demands should be met by whoever wants to fight him. That’s how it should be. Whoever wants to fight him for his title should now venture over here to the UK.

Patricia Russell: If everyone votes for him in Sports Personality of the Year he would have a chance of winning so get voting when it is time. Well done Josh.

Thomas Quinn: Maybe we should be investing in more local community boxing gyms for the youth in Lothians and Scotland. Scotland has produced many great world champions from working-class and breadline families. Josh is a young man from Prestonpans and he made sacrifices to get to the top of his game at an early age without help. He is a true example to why sports development should be invested in more. There are far too many membership clubs that kids and families can’t afford these days.

Andy Taylor: This is up there with Andy Murray winning Wimbledon. Tremendous achievement from Josh. The fact that none of the broadcasters picked this up was disgraceful. The whole world knows who he is now though.

Scott Robertson: If this had been Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua unifying a division it would be worldwide for everyone to see. The sky’s the limit for this lad.

Allan Brooks: Up there with Ken Buchanan, Andy Murray, Chris Hoy, Jackie Stewart etc. Great achievement.
