When he moved to do panto in Glasgow it wasn’t the same. I was glad when he returned to Edinburgh’s King’s Theatre, that’s where he was at his best, year after year.

Allan, Andy and Grant WERE the panto! You could see that relationship that Allan talks about. Absolutely brilliant! I feel very lucky to have seen them on stage together. It's something I won't forget. I suspect I am not alone. Thinking of everyone touched by Andy's passing.

Beautiful words Alan. He made us all as a family laugh since 1999, especially my mum and auntie, whose highlight was the panto every year. The kids are all now in their 20/30's and still come every year. RIP you wonderful man and thank you for the years of belly laughs.

Edinburgh Christmas is changed forever now. I’m so glad I was lucky enough to have seen Andy perform recently in panto, but I’ll always remember him most from City Lights with Gerard Kelly. God bless and RIP Chancer.

Hide AdBe better as a hotel than a music school. The council has cut money for music lessons in state schools, so if it was a music school it would only be for the privileged. Again.
Michael Wonnacott
Can’t wait; hopefully the hotel will go though the planning system and win.
Alex Monaghan
The very last thing Edinburgh needs is another hotel. This building should be repurposed for the arts, heritage or education.
Fiona A Sampson
Should have been used for the Scottish Assembly instead of the monstrosity that they built .
Jennie Godfrey
