Paramedics called after 'dog on dog' attack in south of Edinburgh

Paramedics were called following reports of a dog attacking another dog in the south of the city.

The incident happened in Frogston Road East, Kaimes, close to the Ming Palace Chinese restaurant and takeaway, at about 4pm.

A picture sent to the Evening News showed an ambulance at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 4pm, police received a report of a dog attacking another dog in Frogston Road, Edinburgh.

“We have no confirmed information anyone has been injured and enquiries are ongoing.”

The spokesperson later confirmed that the dog only sustained “minor injuries” and that no person was injured.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has also been contacted for comment.
