Party in park hails revamp

AROUND 300 people turned out for a fun-filled bash at Almond Park to celebrate the unveiling of improvements worth £420,000.

Enhancements at the Livingston amenity include a new playpark, path upgrades, signs, nature trail, seating, picnic areas, new planting, boardwalk and drainage work.

The event on Saturday, dubbed People in the Park, was organised by Craigshill Greenspace and boasted a dog show, live music, stalls and more.

Environment councillor Robert De Bold praised the work of local people for helping to make the improvements.
