Abandoned fox cub rescued by police in Edinburgh

An adorable fox cub has been rescued by police in the Capital.

The abandoned animal was handed into Drylaw Mains Police Station after a passer by found him crying in the street.

Police bundled it up in a blanket and took it to the PDSA in Gorgie to make sure it was taken care of.

They tweeted: “This abandoned fox cub had a brush with the law last night.

"Officers had a sly plan & took him to PDSA HQ.

“We hope he's doing fantastic.”
