Animal rescue: Tawny owl found in 'sorry state' released into wild after 'lovely spa bath' from Scottish SPCA


Following her recovery, the Scottish SPCA recently released the owl back into the wild near Falkirk on a ‘warm Spring evening.’
The Falkirk Wildlife Conservation Group will continue to monitor the owl’s progress.

Hide AdThe recovery comes after the owl was found in ‘sorry state’ in a chimney ‘covered in suit and grime with inflamed eyes’.
A Scottish SPCA spokesperson said: “This tawny owl came in to our care in a sorry state.
"She was found in a chimney, skin and bone, covered in soot and grime with inflamed eyes.
"Thankfully her vision was okay and we treated her to a lovely spa bath and prescribed some much-needed medication.
