West Lothian Cat Protection is hunting for a new family for Munchie, a 13-year-old ‘very contented’ moggy.

The charity said: “Munchie came into our care through no fault of her own following a change in family circumstances. She is 13 years young and in good health. She has been with her foster mum and dad for a few weeks now and is getting them used to her ways. Munchie loves to look out of the window watching the birds and the neighbours’ passing cats, followed with a nice nap. She also enjoys sitting on your lap being stroked.

“We are looking for a home with safe access to the garden for Munchie to explore in a home with no other cats so that Munchie can receive 100% of the attention.”

If you can offer Munchie a home please contact the charity on 01506 298107 or use the “Contact us” form on the branch website www.cats.org.uk/west-lothian and a home visit can be arranged.
