Local police are encouraging parents to introduce the horses to their kids – and say one of the rookie’s in particular would appreciate the attention.

“The horses have proved hugely popular after recent visits and are a great way for residents to engage with us safely whilst Covid regulations are still very much in place.

“They provide a natural 2m distancing whilst affording the opportunity to get up close to the horses and their riders.

“I would urge everyone to speak to them and in particular introduce your kids to them. One of the horses attending is in training so would appreciate the attention!!
