Bonnie Burrito, in South Clerk Street, Edinburgh was open for business on Christmas Day to cook up some tasty treats which people – who are homeless or find themselves struggling financially after a tough 2020 – could enjoy free of charge.

The Bonnie Burrito team, including Cazz Forrest, Nick Forrest and Sophie Waldone, also provided items of warm clothing for people, which had kindly been donated by customers.

A Bonnie Burrito spokesperson said: “After our [social media] post, lots of our kind and wonderful Bonnie Burrito fans have been in touch asking if they can help or donate money so we thought we would set up a Just Giving page.

“The experience of being homeless can have a devastating effect.”
