A diversion has been put in place to allow maintenance on overhead cabling deemed “essential for the management of Covid-19”.

It’s expected the work will take around two weeks.

During this time the overbridge at the A68 Dalkeith Northern Bypass and Smeaton Electricity Distribution Station will be shut.

People using the route are being diverted via the B6414, A6094 and the access road at the site for travelling people.
