A 12-year-old East Lothian girl who was reported missing after leaving school has now been found safe and well, police have confirmed.

Sophia Gourlay disappeared after leaving Ross High School in Tranent at about 11:30am on Wednesday December 4th.
Concerns were growing for her welfare but a police statement issued this afternoon said: "We can confirm that Sophia Gourlay, 12, who had been reported missing from Tranent has now been traced safe and well.
"Thanks to everyone who shared or otherwise helped with our earlier appeal."
