Edinburgh City Council delivers food parcels to children under-five in need

Today the City of Edinburgh Council will carry on their efforts to deliver essentials to those in need.

Beginning yesterday and carrying on in to today, the Council have been delivering 300 essential food parcels to identified children aged under five who are in the most need.

The essential boxes include items such as fruit, vegetables, rice, pasta and bread. There is also a leaflet enclosed for free activity packs courtesy of Smart Play Network (Scotland).

Also included is an Easter egg from George Anderson and Sons, who have been supporting the Council with various food parcels.
